Our story
We were guests on bad tours before we ran good ones.
Marta started Naranja in 2019 after a decade guiding for one of the big bus operators. She kept hearing the same thing from guests: "the city looks amazing — when do we actually meet it?"
The answer turned out to be a bicycle, a small group and a guide who lives here. Eight years later, that's still the whole idea.
We have three tours, four guides and a workshop full of well-loved Trek and Orbea hybrids. We pay our staff fairly, we use local food suppliers, we offset what we can't avoid. We are small — and we plan to stay that way.

Marta Giménez
Founder · Head of Partnerships
Born in Ruzafa, raced for the Valencian junior team, opened the company in 2019 after ten years of guiding for big operators.
Diego Soler
Head Guide
Architecture obsessive, knows every Calatrava building by heart. Has eaten paella at over 80 farms in the Albufera.
Lucía Pons
Operations Manager
Keeps the bikes turning, the guests happy and the spreadsheets in order. Used to run a horchatería in El Carmen.
Hugo Martí
Senior Guide
Former cycling courier, lifelong Valencianista. Speaks English, French and a charming amount of German.
How we operate
Four things we promise.
Local first
All guides live in Valencia. All food and drink stops are independent local businesses.
Real groups
Maximum ten people. We turn the booking off when it's full — no overselling, ever.
Fair employment
Our guides are full-time staff, not contractors. They are paid above the Spanish hospitality average.
Sustainable by default
Carbon-neutral certified. 1% of revenue goes to maintaining the Albufera natural park.
