About this tour
In 1957 the river Turia flooded Valencia. The city moved the river — and turned the old riverbed into a 9 km park that runs through the heart of town. We ride the whole thing.
The route ends at Santiago Calatrava's City of Arts and Sciences — the white, sculptural complex that has become the postcard of modern Valencia. Your guide knows every architectural story behind it.
It's flat, traffic-free and so easy that a confident eight-year-old can ride it. We finish at the marina with a horchata or a craft beer, then loop back through the old city.
