About this tour
Albufera is the wetland lagoon where paella was invented. We follow the old service track out of Valencia, past the City of Arts, along the beach and into the rice paddies.
Lunch is a long, unhurried affair on a family farm — a true paella valenciana cooked over orange-wood fire, with rabbit, chicken, garrofó beans and a glass of Mistela.
After lunch we ride the dyke roads to the lagoon for a private wooden albufera boat at golden hour, then return to Valencia by support van so you don't pedal home tired.
